Parachutes for Pets provides emergency support for professionals responding to crisis situations involving pets. Our team assists outreach workers, first responders, and community agencies by providing safekeeping, supplies, and transportation when a pet's owner is experiencing an emergency.

While we do attend emergency situations to support responding professionals and assist with the care of transport of pets, we are not an enforcement agency and do not have the legal authority to investigate animal cruelty or remove animals from a situation.

If you witness an animal being harmed or in immediate danger, please contact your local animal control agency or law enforcement so they can respond appropriately. ​
